Karen Arena - Kindergarten
My name is Karen Arena and I am the Kindergarten teacher at Saint Mark School since 2015. I have been teaching for over 20 years and for 17 of those years, I have been a Kindergarten teacher. I job share with Kathy Dudzinski and started at St. Mark School in 2015. I received my undergraduate degree in Education from Southern CT State University and went on to receive my Master's degree in Health Education.
We are passionate about Catholic School Education because it allows us to spread the Gospel message through our teachings. Our curriculum is designed to be able to meet the needs of every student. We use a multi-sensory and modified approach because every student has a unique style of learning. We are also passionate about establishing mind, body and spiritual wellness practices in the classroom to help empower students to be active servants of God in the community.
