Welcome! My name is Lorie Boveroux and I joined the St. Mark School community in fall 2020. I am the middle school Science at St. Mark School.  I recently taught Science at St. Catherine of Sienna School in Trumbull. I have had over 25 years experience in public school education, three years in Catholic Education including teaching as an adjunct professor at St. Vincent's College and 10 years as a Christian Formation director. I hold a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and an MS from Pratt Institute. Prior to teaching, I was a print production specialist for an advertising agency in New York City.

I am married for 25 years and I have four children, Elisabeth (20) a college student who attended Lauralton Hall, Benjamin (18) a pre professional ballet dancer with the Pennsylvania Ballet who attended St. Joseph, Matthew (14) a freshman at Notre Dame Fairfield and William, (13) an 8th grade student at St. Catherine of Siena.

My hobbies include sewing, crafting, and home renovations of a 200 year old house. My family and I are currently raising a puppy for Freedom Guide Dogs.  Our yellow lab, Turlough, will be trained to be a pair of eyes for a sightless person.
