Things to Remember 
•  You should have handed in on Friday, May 3, 2019  your completed ir and jugar verbs on the Present Tense of ir and jugar quiz given to you previously. 
You should have also handed in your two (2) statements using verb ir for subjects yo, tú, él/ella/usted, nosotros/nosotras, vosotros/vosotras, and ellos/ellas/ustedes on a separate paper on Monday, April 29, 2019.

• You should have answered and handed in sections 26, 27, and 30 on Friday, March 22, 2019.


• You should have hand-in Part 23, p. 97. 

• You should have handed in  Exercise 5 and studied Gramática en acción  pp. 86-91.
  Test was on Friday, March 1, 2019.


• You should have handed in your 5 statements:
        A mis amigos y a mi nos gusta ______________________. (2)
       Me gusta _________________. (2)
       ¿Qué te gusta hacer? / A mí me gusta salir con amigos. OR  
       ¿A Juan y a Pablo les gust ir al centro comercial? / Sí, porque les gusta ir de compras.

• Review Capítulo 3-¿Qué te gusta hacer? and study Vocabulario 1, pp. 80-85 

 Oral presentation of your Spanish Collage have been completed. You should have handed in your Spanish Collage. You should have attached the copies of the previews  draft(s) returned to you.

• Review  Vocabulario en acción 2, pp. 56-59 and study pp. 60-65.

• Revisit Gramática 1, pp. 48. Remember to continue practicing the spelling of the descriptive words. 

Ex: ¿Cómo es Paco? (What's Paco like?)
       Paco es alto. (Paco is tall.)
       También es atlético y bastante cómico. (He's also athletic and pretty funny.) 


Continue practicing:
• giving, asking and spelling phone numbers, e-mail addresses, the time, the date and the day
• asking how someone is and saying how you are doing
• using the verb ser/estar in the present tense
• writing Spanish punctuation marks and written accents

• Repaso capítulo 1, pp. 32-34. 

• Gramática 1 & 2, pp. 12,13, 24 & 25

• Verbs voy (Ir) & tener 
       



• Continue studying numbers 0-100. By now you should be able to pronounce and spell them in words. Remember to visit Holt Online for additional exercises. 

  

Remember also to:
•  Increase your vocabulary by using "Alan's technique (from FluentU [email protected]):
      -  Before you go into the shower, identify 5 words that you want to learn.
      -  Create a sentence links those 5 words.
      -  The sentence doesn't have to make sense. It just has to be highly memorable.
      -  Keep repeating that sentence to yourself in the shower.
      -  See if you can remember it until you're done showering.
