Curriculum

The St. Mark academic curriculum is rigorous, comprehensive, and designed to challenge students while fostering a love for learning. Developed by teachers and administrators within the Diocese of Bridgeport, our curriculum goes beyond state and national standards, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded and exceptional education.

 

Our curriculum encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including:

Religion – Strengthening faith and moral development through Catholic teachings, scripture, prayer, and service, fostering a deeper connection to God and the values of the Catholic Church.

Mathematics – Building strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

Science – Encouraging curiosity through hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning.

Art – Nurturing creativity and self-expression through various artistic mediums.

Spanish – Developing language proficiency and cultural awareness.

Music – Enhancing musical appreciation and performance, with a focus on liturgical hymns.

Social Studies – Exploring history, geography, and civic responsibility.

Innovation – Integrating technology and critical thinking for 21st-century learning.

Physical Education – Promoting health, teamwork, and physical well-being.

Beyond core academics, our Personalized Learning approach allows teachers to provide individualized instruction tailored to each student’s unique strengths and areas for growth. This method fosters independence, resilience, and confidence, equipping students with the skills they need to thrive both academically and personally in the future.

Registrations for 2026–2027 will be accepted, and limited openings are available. Tours for prospective  families are available by reservation only.
