After 11 years as a classroom teacher, I was blessed to be appointed principal of St. Mark School in August 2019. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut. I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and 6th year degree in Educational Leadership from Quinnipiac University. I hold 2 CT teaching certifications, in elementary education and intermediate administration and supervision.
As a teacher, I have experience at elementary and middle school grade levels. What I valued most about the first month of school was the opportunity to build strong relationships with each of my students. To get to know them individually and learn what made them unique.
I am excited to be leading St. Mark School. As principal, I strongly believe in creating and sustaining a strong partnership between school and home rooted in our Catholic faith. I strive to keep the lines of communication open and it starts with our teachers and parents. If you have a question or concern about your child’s growth whether it be academically, spiritually, or social/emotionally, please reach out to his or her teacher. We want to work with you, together, in support of your child. And to that end, my door is always open.
