Little Lions Preschool

At St. Mark Little Lions Preschool, we believe children learn by active exploration and problem solving. We encourage students to be creative, inquisitive, flexible, and kind.  We are committed to working closely with parents in order to provide an outstanding early childhood program that encourages the social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth of every child. We recognize each child as an individual and emphasize the value of process over product.  We are a faithful community committed to nurturing each child and guiding them on the beginning of their journey of life-long learning.  We support a curriculum based on our belief that young children learn best through play. Our classrooms are structured around learning centers and activities including: circle time, station rotations, dramatic play, gross and fine motor activities, science, and story time.  Our preschool students have weekly lessons in Music, Innovation and Technology, Art, Physical Education and Spanish; taught by elementary school teachers. The physical health and wellness of our students are well cared for by our full-time nurse on staff.
